Our Ministers
Gene is a native Washingtonian. He was called to the public ministry in 2004 and was the Pastor of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Seattle before moving to the Tri-Cities in October of 2014. Gene has been married for 30 years. He and his wife Aurora have been blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Gene is also a member of the Central Board of the ALCA Federation.
Mark grew up attending the Hockinson ALC church in Brush Prairie, WA, and was confirmed there in 1971. He married his wife Sandra Kay (Warnke) Matson on June 13, 1975. God blessed them with 10 children: 7 sons and 3 daughters. In 1996 his family moved to Centerville, and under the mentorship of Ray Hilman Senior he was called to be a local minister. He then moved to Pasco in 2003 and has been the confirmation teacher here from 2004 -2017.
Dan grew up in and has been a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church all of his life, except a short time with CCF of Tri-Cities. Dan has been married to his wife LeAnn for over 48 years. They have 5 children, 36 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Hockinson ALC for 46 years, served on the boards of Firm Foundation Christian School and ALCA Foreign Mission, and made several mission trips to Russia and Guatemala. Dan has been one of the ministers of the ALC of Tri-Cities since 2007.
Kim has been a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church all his life, beginning in 1962. Most of his life, he attended the ALC church in Hockinson, WA with shorter periods of time in New Ipswich, NH, Lake Worth FL and Castle Rock, WA before moving to the Tri-Cities in 2008. Kim has been preaching since 2010, was added to the ALC ministerial roll in 2015, and has been an assistant minister in Tri-Cities from 2015 to the present.
